Air Force

This Little Bugger
So, I was standing in the rain, waiting on my ride so I could go home when this bird swoops down .  At first, I thought it was  a hawk by its wingspan, but later realized it was a crow.  How dare you deceive me bird! Also, while I was trying to take a picture, I would step forward and he would step backward.

Then he flew away.

Guest Photographer: The Boyfriend

Today was not a good day and I have no specific reason why.  The boyfriend's mom wanted to spend the day with him and I was perfectly fine with that.  They went for a walk and then saw Wrath of the Titans.  After the movie, they were supposed to go to a restaurant for dinner.  She asked him to invite me, which was really sweet of her and then she decided to let us go to dinner by ourselves (also incredibly sweet).  We went to Chipotle and after we ate, we sat on this bench at Lake Elizabeth for a VERY long time, but before we sat down, Daniel took a picture of this carving. :]
When it got dark and cold, we went to his house and watched Big Bang Theory and Men in Black 2.

HAPPY EASTER!

Going to be honest here, I've never really liked Easter much. It's kind of a pointless holiday.  I mean, don't get me wrong, I have to give props to Jesus for dying for me and everyone else and it makes the day great in that sense.  But as a holiday, it's never been all that special.
Today was different.

I woke up super early so I could go to my grandma's church. Then after church, we went to Nation's for breakfast and I got some french toast.  After breakfast I went to work (which is why went to my grandma's church and not my regular church).  I only worked until 2:30 so I was able to be home with the family. The boyfriend picked me up from work and we hung out at my house watching TV with my grandpa and stuff until the cousins came over and we played with them.  And I can't forget to mention all of the food we ate! It was so good. Turkey, fresh fruits, breads, green beans, brownies, chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate.  OH! Did I mention I wore a dress in the first time in a REALLY long time? I got so many compliments on it too!

So Many Birthdays

Happy Birthday Vannie! (April 3rd)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAJA! (April 4th)
Happy Birthday Renia! (April 4th)
Happy Birthday NZTheo! (April 5th)
Happy Birthday Reiney! (April 6th)
Happy Birthday Dylan! (April 6th)

Birthday after birthday was kind of weird. I don't know if I've ever experienced anything like that before.
I made this sign for Dylan, since he wouldn't let me buy him anything.  I really love my hair and eyes in this picture and I'm wearing one of my favorite shirts! :]

Rear View Mirrors

This was actually taken yesterday.  After the second furniture store, we sat in the car outside of a sporting goods store, where we took pictures of his tassel and broken peace necklace thing that hangs from his rear view mirror. When we went inside, he got all excited and started telling me all about the sports equipment. <3

Shoe Shopping

The Boyfriend wanted to get new walking shoes, so we went to the mall to do some price checks. While at the mall, we also walked around a furniture store. He bought us cinnamon roll food stuff and we played SkeeBall at Tilt. After the mall, we went to another furniture store and we found an awesome couch that I want one day.

Feeding the Homeless

Yesterday, while in bed before school, I was praying, like I try to do everyday and God put this homeless man on my heart.  I see this man from time to time when the boyfriend and I are going to his house, and I can't help but feel incredibly bad for him. Anyways, I was praying for this man like I felt God wanted me to and then I felt like I should take him some food. I texted the boyfriend about it and we came up with a plan to make spaghetti (because how often do they get real home cooked meals?) and take it to a few people.  This morning, we bought ingredients and went back to my house to make the spaghetti.  When it was ready, I put it into six different containers to hand out. I had the boyfriend put silverware and napkins in a sandwich bag and we also gave them a bottle of water.

The first person we gave food to was Bruce, the guy I was talking about.  He was so kind and appreciative.  I actually don't think I would mind talking to him again some day (even though I didn't really talk to him).  He actually holds a sign that says "Poetry for Food".  We helped him write it out today on a Little Caesar's pizza box and we also kind of decorated it with a smiley face heart and a bible verse.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  - 1 John 3:16

Did I mention that he is on youtube?

We also gave food to his friend, but she wasn't there at the time. A man laying near the library and two other women. We only gave away five because we couldn't find another person so we ate the sixth one ourselves. It was pretty delicious spaghetti, if I do say so myself. I really hope they enjoyed it!
