Festival Day Two

On the last day of the festival, there were fireworks. We didn't go until really late because it was so hot during the daytime.  All of the lights were lit up on the rides and concession trailers making the street absolutely gorgeous.  My parents sat in the "big tent" where the Earthquakers were doing their concert.  My sister and I left the concert a little early so I could set up my tripod for the fireworks.

We were leaning against a fence, waiting, laughing, and having a good time.  I pulled away from the fence and I hear a ripping sound.  I place my hand on my shorts and there is a HUGE rip in my favorite shorts.  The cool firework pictures made the night all right though.

Friends and Festivals

While in Ohio, I wanted to spend SOME time with my old friends.  When we first got to the festival, I walked around and didn't see ANYBODY that  I recognized, unless they were like five  years younger than me.  I did get a chance to hang out with my friend Sandy and her nephew at the town's Community Days Festival though.  First, we watched her nephew ride some rides.  Then she helped him play some carnival games.  He was really good at the dart balloon game.  I didn't take many pictures, but I really like all of the colors in this one.

I could get used to this...

When I went to get gas with my mom, it was below three dollars! That's amazing, especially because I'm used to it near four dollars in California.  If only, iif only.  I don't wanna pay more than three dollars per gallon when I get my own car!

Quickie Hike

My mom knew of some trails behind the mall that she wanted to take me too.  When we got there, my dad had just gotten off of work and decided he wanted to join us.  While we were waiting, I was watching the dogs in the dog park when I saw this little guy.  Isn't he cute?
Also the trail wasn't very long so we were only there for like half an hour.

Brave with the Seestar

My sister and I went to the movie theater to see Brave.  Originally, the plan was to take my brother to see Avengers, but he decided he didn't want to go, so we made the best of things and went to see something neither of us had seen.  The movie was cute and I had a wonderful time with my sister
