Blockbuster

Two pictures today! I was at work for very long time today and it was pretty slow until about 4 PM. At one point, I decided to take out my camera and snap a few pictures of the movies and candy, which is something I have wanted to do since I first started working at Blockbuster, but I never got a chance to before. I really like how the M&M's are really crisp and the focus in this picture, but even though the other candies aren't as emphasized, you still get the idea.

I also bought about five dollars worth of candy today so this picture is a great representation of that. I found out we had regular Starbursts and they weren't the gummy Starburst we usually carry and I had to get some. I also bought a Snickers Bar, Hershey's Cookies and Cream, Plain M&M's, and Haribo Gummy Bears.

Absolutely Beautiful

For some unknown reason, I love having makeup and jewelry scattered all over my dresser. I hardly ever actually use it, but it makes great decorations. My parents sell Avon so a lot of my makeup and a little bit of my jewelry has come from there, but the rest is just random stuff I have collected over the years.

Shouldn't be at school when the moon is out.

I didn't go to school until 2 PM today because I didn't have my Psychology class, but I did have to stay until 9 PM because of a [really boring] extra credit Psych lecture about Evolution vs. Creationism. I feel like it should have been more about comparing the two, but Eugenie Scott pretty much spent two hours talking about how people who believe in Creationism are wrong and are trying to get Evolution taken out of schools. I wish she would have spent more time explaining why the people feel the way they do about this topic, but ehh, oh well. Personally, I believe in both Evolution and Creationism.

Le Disco

I had a difficult time trying to decide what to take a picture of today. I was sitting on my bed and noticed my disco ball sitting on my shelf.  I hardly ever actually use it, but my cousins love playing with it when they come over. So, I noticed it and I wondered what would happen if I took a picture of it.  I expected it to be pretty blurry, but I didn't think this picture was all that bad. Maybe I'll try again when I get a better camera.

Study, Study, Study!

While waiting for my math class to start, I had been trying to study for my history midterm that I have tomorrow.  The studying didn't get very far, but it did make for a wonderful photo op.

Apparently, everyone and their grandmother owns a pencil similar to the one pictured. They are truly amazing pencils and a sad day it will be when I finally lose it. I do have a teal pencil on hand for when that day does decide to come though.

Never too late...

This is definitely not the best picture, but it's a wonderful start. I really liked this picture of a clock because it represents time and how it's never too late to do something you really want to do.
I have been thinking about doing a 365 Project for about a year now, but it wasn't until recently that I felt like it would be a great idea.

First of all, my inspiration has a cycle. During spring, my inspiration is at it's peak. All of the flowers and plants in bloom and the little animals scurrying about, I live for those kind of things. I keep my inspiration for most of the year, until winter hits. Especially this past year. Back in November, I had fractured a metatarsal in my right foot while at school and could barely walk for about a month and a half. Before then, I would take walks all the time with my camera in hand and snap a picture of everything. But after the foot injury, I stopped doing that and the inspiration waned drastically.

Another Spring, another time for the inspiration to build up! I probably should have started this project at the beginning of the year, but better late then never~
